A dedicated guide within the Dugong network. The existing online catalogue is at shop.dugongscrapers.com.
01 / IDENTIFY YOUR REQUEST
A model name is only the first detail.
Similar-looking machines can require different files. Start with the model, then identify the assembly, part and revision where you can. A photograph helps explain the location of a component; it does not establish its dimensions or compatibility.
A
Building a scraper
Say whether you need a complete build package or only a particular assembly. Ask which drawings and digital files are included, what formats are available and which revision applies.
Before fabrication, confirm that your fabricator can open the supplied format and that any material, dimension and assembly information needed for the job is included.
B
Finding a part
Include the model, part number if known, assembly location and an existing drawing reference. If you do not know the name, describe where the component fits.
State clearly whether you want a physical replacement item or a digital file to manufacture it. A catalogue listing should not be assumed to include both.
C
Checking a listing
Read the description and included items before ordering. Confirm model compatibility, current availability, price, delivery method and the terms for using digital files.
If a catalogue item is missing or unclear, send an enquiry. Its absence does not confirm that it is available, discontinued or included in another package.
02 / MAKE YOUR REQUEST USEFUL
Your enquiry, ready to send.
Choose the details you know. The planner creates a draft for your email application, addressed to Dugong Scrapers.
Details stay in this page until you open the email draft. Nothing is submitted or sent automatically. You can add photographs as attachments in your email application.
03 / BEFORE COMMITTING TO A BUILD
Keep the file and the job in step.
01
Check the revision together
A part file, drawing and assembly reference should belong to the agreed package. Ask about any mismatch before cutting material; do not resolve it by scaling a picture.
02
Agree on permitted use
Buying a digital file does not by itself explain how many builds, copies or transfers are allowed. Have the permitted use confirmed with the order and keep those terms with your records.
03
Retain an order record
Keep the agreed model, file list, revision and order correspondence together. If a question comes up later, those references make it easier to identify the supplied information.
